Region 11 & 12:

The request below can be accomplished by following these steps:
1. go to: http://www.house.gov/representatives/ to find your Congressman/woman for where our Sea Cadet Families live;
2. go to the upper right hand corner of the webpage where there is a place to enter your zip code to find your Representative;
3. follow the prompts for contacting them by e-mail which is found by clicking on the envelope  * icon;
4. complete the electronic form including the box for a "Message must be fewer than 10,000 characters in length".

It is the only means we are familiar with using the USG website that is relatively easy to use.

Drill 14-Dec-2013

posted Dec 10, 2013, 8:47 AM by Web Admin   [ updated Dec 10, 2013, 8:52 AM ]

Drill start time this Saturday will be 1000 (10am). End time will be 1500 (3pm) as usual.
This will give everyone time to change to dress blues and get over to the Corona Public Library.
We will be in a Banquet Room for the Awards Dinner.
Arrival time is 4:30pm so we can begin at 5pm.

This dinner is pot luck, so make sure ENS Cindy Killingsworth knows what you are bringing.
We want to make sure we have enough food. :)
E-mails were sent out from her for the event last month and again earlier this month.

We also need 2 parents to volunteer to man a registration table at the Library from 4-5.
This will help us make sure only Sea Cadet families come in for dinner.
If you can help, let me know and arrive at the library a little before 4pm.

Give me a call if you have any questions.
See you Saturday.

USNSCC Annual Awards Event Dec 14 - Venue Change

posted Nov 28, 2013, 12:03 PM by Michael Killingsworth   [ updated Dec 10, 2013, 8:54 AM by Web Admin ]

See Attach Flyer For More Details and Directions To The New Venue.

Good evening Parents, Cadets and Staff,
Due to a scheduling conflict with the Norconian, we are changing the venue for our USNSCC Annual Awards Event to the Corona Library Community room located at 650 S Main St, Corona, CA 92882. Attached is the direction to Corona Library.
Since the event is no longer held inside the Naval Base, access is no longer an issue so I am moving the RSVP date to December 2, Monday at 3:00 PM. However, no additions will be accepted after December 2nd so I can give an accurate count of attendees to Corona library. Seating will be limited to the guest list ONLY! Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

USNSCC Annual Awards night, Dec 14th

posted Nov 22, 2013, 3:34 PM by Web Admin

See Attach Flyer For More Details.
It is time again for our Annual Awards night where we have a chance to mingle, enjoy the holiday festivities and recognize the cadets and staff that generously donated their time and effort to help this youth program. Flyers were handed out to the cadets at yesterday's drill but I am attaching a copy to this email for your reference just in case your cadet forgot to show you ;) It is very important that you get back to me or Heather Adams on or before (preferred) Nov. 25 with the list of attendees to get it cleared with base security, no additions can be made after this date NO EXCEPTIONS!
It would be greatly appreciated if you can let me or Heather know what dish you will be bringing to the event by next drill which is on Saturday December 7, sooner would be better.
Thank you,
Cindy Killingsworth

Winter Trainings Have Been Posted

posted Nov 11, 2013, 10:29 AM by Web Admin

Winter trainings have been posted.

DO NOT contact anyone but LCDR Brown, the unit CO, regarding any training you wish to attend.

She will be able to answer all questions.

Please remember these are national trainings (all of the US), and the COTC doesn't want to be overwhelmed.

You will be directed on what to do if you are qualified to go.

Once you have turned in all fees and have signed orders, LCDR Brown will contact the COTC with your information.

They will e-mail you after receiving them, so make sure we have your correct e-mail address.

Web Site is HOMEPORT.
Click on Winter Trainings and read the information letter first!

We will have all the CA trainings printed out in the office at drill.

(Please select the link above to be directed to the attachments)

Attached is a flyer for the Friday 25 OCT Navy League Sponsor dinner, being held at the club on base.

They are also planning to dedicate our new bldg. 808.

We would like to invite you to attend and support our sponsor.
Cost is $20/person for a catered dinner.

I am planning on having a 6-man Color Guard. Dinner is included for those cadets selected.
If your cadet is not on the Color Guard but would like to attend, you will need to pay for their dinner.
They would wear their working uniform (Camis).

Come find out more about this great organization, enjoy dinner in the historical Norconian club, and share in celebrating the birthday of the Navy with the base.

If you have any questions, please call.
